Community Hub

The Community Hub is funded by the Department of Family and Community Services. The Hub worker is all about linking people and providers in the local community.

Linkages and information

The Community Hub can provide information about what is available in the Gunnedah area, or about how to access services.

They can help with things such as filling in application or registration forms, information on funded or mainstream services, or helping you to make contact with someone who can support you to get housing, legal assistance, financial aid, emotional or practical supports – no matter what your circumstances.

The Community Hub also actively promotes information, activities, events and training in Gunnedah Shire Council. If you would like to be included on the Community Hub mailing list please make a request by clicking here.

Our Current projects

The Gunnedah Roundtable

The Roundtable is a networking meeting for all community groups, service providers, businesses, and other interested parties in Gunnedah Shire Council.

As well as being a great forum for information sharing and networking, this group facilitates a number of local events in the Community.

Tempest Street Tea Party

This event is held in partnership with the Salvation Army. Anyone in the Community is welcome to along and enjoy a fun social outing, meet new people and enjoy a delicious morning tea!
