Aged Care

“Aging is not an option, not for anyone. It is how gracefully we handle the process, and how lucky we are, as the process handles us” … Cindy McDonald.

At GoCo, we know that Aging is both a natural and complex journey that presents both opportunities and challenges for many of us. We understand that your needs are always changing and unique to you. You can rest assured that we will never take a ‘one size fits all’ approach with you or your loved ones.

Support for Carers

Respite
It is important that carers have a regular break from their caring role. Some time to think about your own needs and to rejuvenate so that you can stay healthy and able to care for your loved one for longer.

GoCo offer a number of options to support carers to have a break. We focus on the person who is being cared for to make sure that their respite care is meaningful and enjoyable.

Some of the types of respite we offer are:
– Individual respite;
– Centre-based activities, and
– Overnight community respite.

The person that you care for may also be eligible to access our social groups, individual social support, or outings, which will offer you a respite effect.

Carers Support Group
GoCo also has a Support group for Carers that meet monthly at our office on Marquis Street in Gunnedah. If you would like to attend this group but need someone to support the person you usually care for, please contact our friendly staff.

Visit our frequently asked questions, or call our friendly and experienced GoCo Team on 6740 2240 to discuss our Aged Care Supports and Services today.
